We know it happens—maybe a new initial needs to be added, or a special detail comes to mind after your order has been sent out. And while we’d love to be able to add to your jewellery after the fact, unfortunately, it’s just not something we can safely or sustainably do.
Every single letter on your piece is hand-stamped—no lasers, no engraving machines, just our tools and hands. That means each stamp is done with care, precision, and a hammer. When we stamp a fresh piece, we have full control over spacing, placement, and pressure. But once a pendant or charm is finished and polished, adding extra letters becomes risky.
Why? Because there’s no way to “undo” a hand-stamped letter. If we make even the tiniest mistake while adding new text to a finished piece—whether it’s a misaligned stamp or a slip in pressure—we’d need to start from scratch. That means scrapping the original piece entirely and making a brand-new one. And as a small business focused on sustainability, avoiding unnecessary waste is really important to us.
We always recommend taking a moment before ordering to double-check what you’d like stamped—especially when it comes to names, initials, or meaningful dates. And if you’re unsure, we’re always happy to help you talk it through before we get started.
Our goal is to create something beautiful, thoughtful, and made to last—and that means making it right the first time.
